okay, we're back!

well, at least bad Jen is back!  I don't know about you all but I have been busy.

I just got done listening to last weeks episode of RGG and I must say I'm impressed.  I liked listening to Mark Adams talk about Holiday Blues (it was my suggestion).  I have never really been into the holidays and some of his tips were (will be) very helpful... I've already arranged some massages for myself this holiday... I have one scheduled on Christmas Eve and one on New Years Eve.  I was only going to do New Years, but my body is a bit sore (maybe it's from drinking too much on Saturday night ha ha ha - no, just kidding)... but I've decided it's in my best interest to do one Christmas Eve as well... 

My family is not buying gifts this year so that's been a bit strange, but I've gotten a lot of things for myself. 

I am looking forward to making the most out of the holiday.  Here's what I've got scheduled...

BJ and I can't skype today... she is moving! Yay!!! The hubby and I are heading to a fantastic brunch. I can't find Roodi's halloween costume (our little dog) - bummer. Hope you have a good one!

Back in town

I am now a bad Jen. I have not been on here in forever. Bad.... Bad.... Jen.... I went to Atlanta to visit family over the holiday weekend. We had fun. Drank lots of wine and ate lots of food. It was good to see family. Back to the grind now. Working for the future! Jen

Happy Labor Day Weekend!

Good Jen is out of town this weekend... I bet she's having a good time.

I have been spending some time cleaning up my room this weekend... In case you didn't know yes, I am currently residing with my mother.  We get along really well - I've been looking for a place to live but the space has to be just right.  I need to get everything in order to get ready to move when the time comes...

Tomorrow I have the day off from both my jobs.  I plan on sleeping in until 6:30 or so... if I make it to 7 I'll be lucky...  then I'm going to go workout and then to the studio for the majority of the day...

Maybe someday I'll post photos.

Okay, have to get back to my television show... I'm all about Big Brother!

We have both been bad Jens.. life has gotten in the way and we have not been posting...  We are stuck at 127 Jens on the Facebook page and we have lost the jenergy...  maybe we should disband.

Today I felt like staying in bed. It was so nice and comfortable. But- work waits! I had a couple of voice jobs I had to do first thing. So here I am! Looking forward to a lunch appointment I have today! We had an open house (selling our house) yesterday - I kid you not someone actually scraped paint off of one of our window frames... WTF?

Today

Today is a busy day. I am finishing this week's Radio Go Girl! show. Very exciting. I have a house showing (selling the house).... and I am applying for a bunch of jobs. Yay for me. I hope to skype with the other Jen Towner this weekend. We need to catch up. It is so hot here in Virginia - ready for a weather break! I'm with the other Jen... cookies would make life perfect. And some fame would be okay too. lol

The best Mac and Cheese

Okay - went next door for dinner last night. Our nighbors - Wemily (Will and Emily) made the BEST mac and cheese I have ever had. They told us about this months ago and they invited us to taste it. Several different types of cheese... like feta, havarti etc. etc. So creamy and so good. We had a great time and shared a fantastic bottle of Washington State wine. Yay!

It's been a busy time in this Jen's life... I have been working like crazy - I camp counseled for a week... I'm doing some house - sitting... it just doesn't leave me a lot of time to blog (outside of my everyday blog)...

I have been away for a bit. BJ is never here anymore. I will have to give her a talkin' too. It has been a crazy busy summer. Have you ever sold a house? That's what's taking all of my time now. It's so hard to stay so clean. LOL. Rock it Jens!

Hot

Okay I know I've said it before - but it's been stinkin' hot in Virginia this summer. Hit 104 yesterday - and it's miserable. Just had to say it. All else is well. Had a house showing on Friday and another one tomorrow. I feel an offer coming down! I just finished reading The Secret again - BJ sent me her copy. Hope all is well in your world. xo Jen

Okay - we have both been out of it. BJ has an excuse - she was actually a camp counselor for an entire week. That's pretty cool if you ask me. I've just been busy like the rest of you I'm sure. I hope you are having a fantastic summer. It has been HOT in Virginia... I mean HOT... They call Atlanta "Hotlanta" - well it's been like 10 degrees hotter here everyday. Wow. Rock it girls!

I'm still here

Hi Jens..... It's been awhile. I am trying to sell my house and I feel like I am always in and out for showings. If you've ever sold a house you know CLEAN you have to keep it at all times. This is VERY hard for me. lol. I think I dust and sweep everyday. I'll be glad when that can end. lol. Have a great Sunday!

Surviving the 4th.

Hola Jens!  I am coming back down from my 4th of July high... okay, it's not really a high.  I think it's just all the crap I ate and lack of exercise I got while I was away.

I'm sure it sounds like I was gone for a long time but it was only for about 24 hours...

It seemed like a lifetime.

Back to work

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. It went by so fast - dinner party at hour house Saturday.... 4th of July event down the street Sunday and party at the sister-in-law's on Monday.... yayay... so much fun. Now it's back to work.....

BJ doesn't know what she is missing. Eclipse was fantastic.... probably going again this week. I had a great 4th of July.... we went down the street to a friend's house and had yummy food and drinks. Off to the sister in law's today for another gathering. Having this much fun is tiring. lol.

I went to see Eclipse yesterday with my friend Emily... it was awesome... makes me want to read the books again though... It's been a year since I read them and I had forgotten some stuff. Producing the next Radio Go Girl today.... so.... you go girl! GJ

Bad Jen and I skyped on Sunday for over an hour. We have not talked (other than email) in awhile. Good times catching up! I see her picture at the run - she's cold... it's like 100 degrees here in Richmond. lol. Lots to do today - interviews for my show Radio Go Girl and other stuff. Have a great one! GJ

The real pain.

the real pain is to be experienced when you run a stinking half marathon on a bum foot...

I just like complaining because I am bad jen...

Actually I don't look that bad holding the banana - I just look cold....

I hauled my 43 year old body over 13 miles of pavement yesterday and am still alive to tell about it...

I rewarded myself last night with a burger at Red Robin... with french fries and blue cheese dressing to boot... now I have to get back on the wagon. 

I did manage to get to my weight watchers center and weigh in after the half... I was only down 1.2 pounds... oh well, there is always next week right???

Yay Jens!  maybe someday someone will actually notice all this Jenergy nonsense and we'll create a cult-like following!

Hurt

I woke up and everything on my body hurts... Back... arms... legs... I think it's all of the cleaning and moving of furniture I have been doing. Oh well. At least it's not supposed to be 100 degrees here today. This is really early for it to be this hot here! I am ready for vacation! : )

It is so hot in Virginia right now. All of the grass on our street is turning brown - even though people are trying to keep water on it. It's supposed to be over 100 today. It's only the 4th day of summer... geez. I hope everyone is doing well. It has been amazingly busy. BJ and I have not skyped in weeks, which is a bummer. Hopefully we will be able to next weekend. She has something going on this weekend. I went to the river with my husband and some friends that have a house down there last weekend. Total blastola. Well have a fab day. GJ

Slacking

Wow - I can't believe how long it's been since I posted something. BJ is right.... both of us are crazy busy - you probably are too. We have not even skyped in a few weeks. Yuck.... weekends have been crazy - my husband and I are finishing some projects around the house. Something you think is going to take a couple of hours takes an entire day. lol. Oh well. We have been slacking - for that I apologize... Life has gotten in the way... lot's going on.  Low self esteem, lack of dates, eating too much - oh wait, that's just me. Good Jen is busy doing other stuff as well... Maybe we'll get more active once summer gets under way.

I don't really think we're slacking...

It's just that the warm sunny glow of a new Jenship has worked its way into the routine of everyday...
I don't know about good Jen, but I have another blog that Is my baby - more Jen-centric.  I just don't always have the energy to keep up with everything... if I didn't have to work full time and teach and live my life I might focus more attention on the blog.

For heavens sake - we can't even get past 123 Jens on our facebook page...  we suck.

Okay so I missed one Skype weekend. What can I say. The Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond had their Grand Re-opening and Arts in the Park was going on.... I was running around crazy. That noted - I did set BJ up on a date in Seattle with a friend of my cousin.... I will let her tell the story. lol.

Jen was featured on listener feedback because she had good feedback. Don't worry - she will be on my show soon talking about Cycling! woohooo! BJ teaches a spinning class in Seattle. BJ could probably kick my little but. ha!

Crazy Jenebration

Okay it's been a crazy weekend. I have had tons to do and my girlfriends have definitely helped me celebrate the big 40.... Thanks to the nice message from BJ too. Our birthdays are one day apart... how funny is that? If you are new to this blog - Jen in Seattle and myself the other Jen Towner in Richmond met via facebook. We've become great friends. The highlight of my day today was skyping with her. She's a hoot... she's really not the bad. lol. Okay so happy birthday to us - and now we move on. Bring it Jens!

It's birthday week for me and BJ. Her birthday is Thursday and mine is Friday - how weird is that. It is true that BJ invited me to come to Seattle for our birthdays - the timing wouldn't work out right now. : ( booo. BJ and I skyped yesterday - it looked like it was a beautiful day in Seattle. It was in Richmond as well! Lots going on this week! One of my friends is coming to town on Tuesday to hang out for a day. Yay. Have a Fab day!

Of course BJ and I would want to hang out! : ) Fairly busy day today. Somehow it feels like winter is back in Virginia. It was like 90 degrees a couple of days ago now it feels like it's 40. Oh well.

I have one more interview for my Radio Go Girl show this week and then I can assemble the show tomorrow! Yipppeeee.

I don't think there's anything wrong with sending random emails throughout the day - as long as you are working. It's not like IM or anything.

Crankiness is a relative thing...

I am not always as cranky as it appears - I just voice my displeasure more often than others.  Overall I am a pretty peppy and positive.... it just doesn't come out of my fingers all the time...

As for us emailing each other through the day....  I manage to get my work done!  

That was just in case any of my bosses was checking up on the blog...

Yeah, it seems like Good Jen and I have known each other forever... I wonder if we ever met in person if we'd actually want to hang out with each other.... maybe???  Yeah, I think so... 

Cranky

Bad Jen tends to be a little cranky. I am positive that we will get more Jens on the FB project. How can we not?

BJ and I email throughout the day - she keeps me company. I like it. We are both working but sending random emails through the day. Kinda cool.

Don't you think it's interesting how you meet people? I have never met BJ in person - though I would love to. Somehow we have managed to become good friends.

If Good Jen only knew what I had planned...

she would have been impressed.  But alas, it was not meant to be.

Well I am totally bummed. Today Bad Jen and I will not have time to skype. I have brunch this morning and by the time I get home she will be off on her busy day. Bummer.

Busy Day

Today is a busy day. I have two interviews this a.m. for future shows (Radio Go Girl) - and a 4pm meeting this afternoon to talk about a function I am hosting at the museum here in June. I also have to assemble this week's radio show. All good.

Bad Jen has a date with someone I set her up with. I am very excited about this. The guy is a friend of my cousin's who my husband and I met while we were in Seattle last year. Yay!

I think I have burned the tips of my fingers using the little pad on the computer instead of a mouse. Today I will use a mouse. Ouch. Jen

Storms

Okay this Jen is tired. A bunch of wind and storms came through last night. Normally that doesn't really wake me up. But I've been up since about 3am. The windows were all open and it started blowing stuff all over the house. At that point a loud train went by (never does) - cat started yelling and dog decided it was time to get up. Oh well. 115 Jens on I bet we can find a million Jens on facebook. That's cool. I still know there are more out there. GJ

Good Jen mentioned that I wore a dress yesterday.  I also wore a bra!

Okay... I am a Jen with a huge laugh and I own it. Last night at dinner - it became the joke. It was so funny that I continued to laugh and snort. I just couldn't help myself. Anyhoo - we were talking about putting my head on a pez dispenser that laughed when you opened it. How cool would that be?

Slacking

Oh no. This Jen is slacking too. I forgot to write something yesterday. It was a busy day with interviews for my show Radio Go Girl! and such. Where to start. Well on our Jenergy project we now have 111 Jens as of this a.m. Woooohooooo! We are finally coming along.

As the other Jen mentioned I have set her up with a friend of my cousin's in Seattle. I can't wait to see how that goes. He's a really nice guy.

I have a lot to do today and for some reason I woke up tired. Bummer. I will go work out and hopefully that will wake me up. All you Jens, Jennas, Jennifers and Jennys... have a fantastic day! : )

I can't believe April is here on Thursday..... the birthday month. Bad Jen has her birthday the day before me as well. She celebrates for an entire month. I only give myself a week. I call this Jenebration. Hey you Jens... how long do you celebrate your birthday? We have 106 Jens as of this a.m. on the facebook project collecting a million Jens... This includes Jennifers, Jennys, Jennas etc.

Back to the birthday month. I turn 40 this year. WOW! Time to Jenebrate. ; ) GJ

The weekend

I love the weekend. It has been an awesome one too. My brother is in town from North Carolina and we have been having a blast. He's been playing the piano and singing - he is a beautiful singer. Today is a busy day. We are helping out at a cut-a-thon to benefit the sister of a friend of mine. Her sister was in a car accident earlier this year and still recovering.

I checked first thing this a.m. and I see we are stalled at 103 Jens on our "I bet we can find a million Jens on Facebook" project... I can't believe we've stalled. I will get back to pushing it this week.

Today Show

I love watching the Today Show. I just do. I think they do a fantastic job and once again Jenna Wolfe rocks... (she joined the Jenergy group on facebook if you missed it). I have a bunch of non-Jens on my facebook wall encouraging me to get more famous Jens. I am workin' it but I have to get my work done too. LOL. We are up to 103 Jens on the FB page today which is very exciting. I still believe there are more out there. I KNOW there are more out there. Jen Ware who is in the group said that according to stats 3.1 percent of people on FB are Jens of some type. Won't you join us? Won't you be our neighbor?

Well it's Thursday and got a lot to do today. I am almost finished with the next Radio Go Girl show which comes out on Sunday. Got some other stuff to do as well including meeting another Jen (Jenna) for lunch. Yay!

Whoops! We've been slacking!

It seems as though I am a slacker... nothing has been posted here since yesterday morning.

I have an update for you all.... we are stalled at 102 Jens, Jennas, Jennifers etc...

come on people... I know world domination takes a while but this is crazy!

On a side note - on the next episode of Radio Go Girl I will be talking about Boobies!  yee-haw - something for you all to look forward to!

I am going to run now.  It's a nice evening here in Seattle I may have to go out and show the boobies.. but discreetly... don't want to get arrested!

Jensational!

I am so excited to wake up this morning and see that we have 99 Jens, Jennifers, Jennys, Jennas etc. on our Facebook hoarding site. That's very cool. Bad Jen invited J Wow from Jersey Shore which is cool. I am still just so excited that Jenna Wolfe from The Today Show joined. She is SOOOO cool! I say this is Jensational! Jenebrational!

Speaking of Jenebration - my mother posted a note on my facebook page reminding me that Jenebration is on the way - that is the week long birthday fest. Only this year I turn 40. Huh? 40? Wow it's a biggie. The interesting thing is that BJ's birthday is the day before mine. Crazy huh?

We've scored a famous Jen!

Jenna Wolfe joined our Facebook page this morning.  In Case you don't know who she is you should google her.  She is a correspondent and fill in host on the Today show.  The today show is one of my favorite shows... but that's another story for another time.  Sort of like the story of the last time I drank tequila.  It's too long to go into here.

Well, we're up to 99 Jens Jennas Jennifers Jennys etc.

I invited J Woww to become a member today.  If you haven't seen Jersey Shore you might want to check it out... it's good.  She wears a great selection of tops to accentuate her womanly figure.

Famous Jens

Okay - I was only kidding about BJ being a slacker. We skyped yesterday and I was giving her a hard time. I couldn't help it. I love skyping with Jen. It's all too fun! Here's something cool I did yesterday. I sent Jenna from the Today Show a note on FACEBOOK and asked her to join our group "I bet we can find a million Jens on Facebook". I just checked this a.m. and she has not joined yet. But it's okay. She will. She was talking on the show yesterday about how she loves working weekends so that she can sleep in on Mondays. Okay - so right now she is just sleeping in which is why she has not joined. She will when she wakes up. The good thing is that we have 86 Jens... wooo hooo! We'll get 100 this week I'm sure!

I have to get busy today. Business has been slow in the voiceover business. This Jen needs to make some money. Have a great day! Good Jen

poo poo I say!  I just lead a busy life.  I'm sure many Jens out there can relate!

I work full time as a Paralegal, part time at a gym teaching cycle classes and then try to squeeze in world domination and an art practice.  No wonder I don't post as often as certain other same-name friend thinks I should.  My life is full! - not to mention I have a coffee date this afternoon and I need to get a move on if I don't want to be late.

This date is a big thing for me.  The last date I had was back in 2007 or so.... I don't get out much!

Wahoooo!

I am so excited. It's the first day of Spring. The beautiful weather is back! It's going to be a beautiful day! I checked Facebook just a minute ago and we have 81 Jens. Bad Jen says there are 82 Jens that have been invited to join the facebook group "I bet we can find a million Jens on facebook" that have not responded to their invites. Jens... Jens... how can you deny? Another Jennifer on the group page said that she thinks people could be just tired of the "I bet we can find a million whatever on facebook" - but not us Jens. No I think we'll get close. We're all just busy that's all. HAVE A FABULOUS DAY! Good Jen

72!!!

Okay I am going to look on the bright side. We started with 2 Jens and now we have 72. That is growth. I know there are millions of Jens, Jennas, Jennys, Jennifers etc. etc. etc. out there. What can we do to get more Jens? Should we offer incentives? Or Jen-centives... and if so, what would that be? I didn't realize collecting us Jens all in one spot would be so difficult. That's okay. Time Change

Okay the time change always messes me up. We lost an hour of sleep. This morning I am up WAY late. I don't like the feeling of waking up on a Monday and already being behind. Okay I just had to say that. Bad Jen in Seattle ran yesterday in a race. She has a t-shirt that says SINGLE... I love it! I'm trying to set her up with someone I know in Seattle. Wouldn't that be a hoot? Alright all you Jens. We have 53 on facebook now. Wahooo. Happy Monday and have a FAB day!

Bad Jen has been slacking.

I'm sorry I was awol yesterday.   Bad Jen needed to take a day for herself. 

This morning I am going to be running in a St. Patrick's Day dash.  I will try to take some photos while I'm running. 

Now that's a good story.... I used to be about 40 pounds overweight, but then I decided to do something about it... I joined one of those nationally recognized weight loss programs and started exercising and eating right... today I'm teaching cycle classes and running in races.  There's something about taking things into your own hands and getting those results you want.

I am so proud of the Jens

Okay... It's Saturday morning. I was reading Bad Jen's post and I totally agree with her. I never have the Jenergy to do anything on Friday nights. In fact - I actually fell asleep on the couch last night! My friends who ask us to do things on Friday - no - can't do it.

Okay so I have been busy with Radio Go Girl! It's a weekly show and I finished the second show which comes out Sunday... but the important thing is WE HAVE 47 JENS THIS A.M.!!! wahoooooo - go Jens... I just did a back flip... wooo hooo - we made the goal and I think we can get 50 by the end of the weekend! 50 wonderful Jens, Jennifers, Jennys, Jennas etc. all over the world. You rock.... I just felt a spunk of Jenergy hit me!!! : )

BTW - One of our Jennifers just posted some fabulous photos that she has taken... wow. Amazaing talent in the Jens...

I have no Jenergy tonight...

Bad Jen confession time....  I don't do much on Friday nights... I'm usually too tired to do things when all is said and done.

That is alright though... I'm not too worried - that just means I have more time to spend with you all!

Good Jen has been very busy trying to get fans for Radio Go Girl that she has not been able to focus all of her Jenergy on the Jen Page... but that's alright too!  I will be your fearless co-leader.

Okay, I guess I should start scouring the world wide web for Jens to invite to join the group!

Famous Jens

Okay - we have 45 Jens, Jennys, Jennas and Jennifers on our facebook group page. That's cool! A lot of Jens joined yesterday! Yay! So here's what I did yesterday. I went to Jennifer Aniston's fan page and posted a note asking her people to have her join our Jen group. Ya never know. Then it got me thinking. If we had one REALLY famous Jen on our project - I bet more and more Jens would come. With the 6 degrees of separation theory, one of us Jens has got to know someone, who knows someone, who knows a famous Jen... just putting it out there. Good Jen

If they are willing to change their names they can join the group.

Okay - I had three comments yesterday from Radio Go Girl! listeners. People want to be part of the Jenergy project - the comments are -"if I am a Friend of a Jen can I join Jenergy to share Jen stories etc." These people are feeling left out. What do you think? Good Jen

I'm not as worried as Good Jen is about recruiting new converts - errr, I mean members.

So what if we only got two more people today... it's been a long day and we can't always be on our A game.  Can we?

Homework assignment

Your Jen assignment if you choose to accept it is to pick up your senior yearbook.  Paw through those pages and look for every single Jenny, Jennifer, Jenna or Jen you can find (am I forgetting any variation?...and  by Jenny I am including all variations of spelling...)... okay, back to the task.  Google their names - find them on facebook and then invite them to join the group. 

Okay, I think we all have our marching orders.  I am going to go to bed.... I am putting off my homework until tomorrow.... because as I've said before.

Here's the deal... we are Jenergy - all of us. Whatever the name: Jennifer, Jenny, Jenna, Jenaveve, Jen etc. the list goes on. Us Jens have incredible energy and I truly believe in a good way we could become this truly huge Jenergy network.. Jens - unite. Don't worry - I'm not being Bad Jen and compaining - I'm simply saying - tell all of your Jen friends to join the search for more Jens. It's a Jen Collection. We have 33 that have joined the group "I bet we can find a million Jens on facebook" - we need 40 by the end of the week. Don't ya think? By the way - I was called Jenny once today and Jennifer twice. Good Jen

I bet there are a few Jens out there who might have actually been called this before... I can't really complain too much about it... my friend meant it in the most endearing way.... I think.

Okay, let's see - let's start canvasing places where Jens hang out!... tattoo parlors and saloons - oh, that only where the Jens I know hang out... we need more!

Getting Busted

Okay Bad Jen had to bring it up. I was looking up Jens of all kinds on facebook and sending the link to "I bet we can find a million Jens on facebook". Yes - I got busted. They sent me a nasty message that said I was annoying and a very bad person. I continued to send them and then I got scared. I think I sent a total of 10. I don't like the feeling of being busted. I guess that's the way it is when you're a good Jen. I think all Jens should come up with a title. We have Bad Jen and Good Jen.... on facebook we have Zoo Keeper Jen... what about Cool Jen and Spicy Jen etc. etc. You call it! : )

The Jens are growing....

Okay - I am very excited to see that we are up to 22 Jens now on our facebook project. While it's not quite the "million" that we are looking for, the number at least continues to grow everyday. I only know personally a few of the Jens that joined - so very cool! We even have our first Jen in another country! Jens Unite!

Am I the only Jen out there that notices lots of things don't happen on "Jen Time"... what is Jen Time? Well some of you may know already. It is the time things should take in the "perfect Jen world".. whether it is finding a job, making dinner, cleaning the house or even just hearing back from somebody you have reached out to. "Jen Time" has a much quicker turnaround than the time the average population is on. Am I right? Good Jen

The weekend is here!

Happy Friday! It's already started off to be a busy day - I had a 7:30am meeting on the other side of town. But it's all good. I loved Bad Jen's story about our meeting. It's kinda cool to meet someone across the country with your same name and someone that you also have so much in common with. How cool is that! She forgot to mention that we are both addicted to cheese and we're both Gleeks. She and I skype again on Sunday. Looking forward to it!

Okay - what else is going on with the Jens out there? We started a group on facebook that is I Bet We Can Find A Million Jens on Facebook. So far we have 12. Hmmmmm coming up short a bit. Well pass that on to everyone you know if you happen to stumble across this site.

How Jenergy met...

I thought I would tell you all how Good Jen and I hooked up.

Let me get this out here - I am self-obsessed. Not overly self-obsessed but obsessed nonetheless. I am an artist and a blogger. I keep stats on everything... I often Google my name to see if anything has been written about me or my work out on the Information Superhighway.. I use my given name Jennifer in my art practice so that's what I usually Google. Well, an assortment of Jennifer's, Jen's and Jenny's kept popping up... (there's a real estate agent in Colorado who has my name - and the website I wanted to use... but I digress). I kept seeing Good Jen pop up in posts... according to the posts she disappeared from her radio job a while back -so I tried to figure out what happened to her....

Another thing about me - I'm almost never without my laptop attached to my lap... she's nice and warm (better than a boyfriend)... I am almost always online when I'm at home and a lot of that time is spent on Facebook (or stalking boys I know from the gym I work at).... One day I decided to search for other Jennifer Towners and there she was. I thought it would be cool if we were friends. So I sent her a friend request and she accepted!

The rest is history! Jenergy was born... it's almost like we are twins... same name, our birthdays are one day apart, we have similar hairstyles, she has a red wiener dog - I have two red wiener dogs.... weird right? I"m sure there's more similarities but I'm too tired to figure them out right now...

I might be missing something here... I'm sure Good Jen will chime in if I did... I bet she'll be back with her peppy-good Jen self in the morning...

People are passionate about their Jen name

It's interesting that Bad Jen brought up the whole Jenny thing. No matter what your Jen name, most of us seem to be pretty passionate about what we're called. My full name is Jennifer, though I have not gone by Jennifer in years. I am happy with Jen and never have gone by Jenna. When I was little some people called me Jeni but I don't like to be called Jeni now. What's in a Jen name though? Jennifers out there who refuse to go by anything but Jennifer, I am curious. I know some Jennys who are very passionate about not being called Jen and Jennas who don't want to be referred to as Jennifer. And how do Virginias end up as Jenny?

The thing about Jennys...

I know some very nice Jennys out there... It's just that when I was growing up it was drilled into my head that my name was Jennifer or Jen... Not Jenny...

Back when I was in High School I was on the gymnastic team and there were an abundance of Jennifers on the team - the majority of them went by Jenny (that's not my name...)...there was Jenny Pickering, Jenny MacDougal, and Jenny Sizemore.... Since they were all called Jenny - they called me Jenny too!!! - which was the worst thing ever when you have been told your entire life that your name is not Jenny. I had to put up with this for four of my formative years! No wonder I'm traumatized! THEY ENGRAVED THE NAME JENNY TOWNER ON MY CAPTAIN'S TROPHY!!!!! I am scarred for life...

The pain has subsided over the years... but it still hurts.

I have nothing against Jennys... I'm just not fond of the name...
