I can't believe it's May... wow... lots of good stuff going on here. I am loving my job doing a morning show at 98.9 Liberty (you can listen online)... Radio Go Girl - my weekly show is doing well - tons of subscribers... It's beautiful in Virginia - loving the weather today - sunny and 70 - woo hoo. My husband and I had an open house at our new house a few weeks ago - that was such fun. Can't wait to do another one. Bad Jen and I keep in touch daily. : )

Two days in a row...

Wow - unheard of.... I am up and ready to roll! I actually am heading out to the Celebration of the Vine Wine Festival in Virginia this morning... I love me some vino - unfortunately it is raining and supposed to storm later. Hopefully it will be dry at the event though.... I am doing a broadcast for my radio station. Still doing some decorating and unpacking at our new place. Painting etc. and our friend and plumber David and his cousin are here this a.m. working on plumbing issue... we are making them breakfast. Well that's it for now... JT out...

Well

It's April 15th... yay... so it's been a month. It has been crazy busy. My husband and I are getting settled into our new house. That's good. Been painting etc. and making it ours. Have had some major plumbing issues. Jackhammers and all down in the basement. Some broken pipes. My job at 98.9 Liberty in Richmond is going well. I love it there. I have some awesome co-workers as well! Radio Go Girl is doing well too - I had to take this week off though as my grandpa died and I needed to go back home to his funeral. Hard times and very sad. He was a good man.... It's a beautiful spring day here in Virginia... lovely to be outside. I hope you are well.

Yes - I'm fine

Okay, I say that I'm fine... relatively... I've had a rough few weeks.

If any of you listened to the latest episode of Radio Go Girl you may have heard about my inability to hold onto any sort of beverage (coffee or water).... in the time span of four hours I spilled coffee all over my living room, my sofa and myself and then I dropped a full glass of water once I got  to work...  well the streak continues.  Last week I was walking to work and decided it had been a long time since I had seen the sidewalk close up.  I turned my ankle and sprained it along with my fingers.  I am happy to report that I can kind of walk now and I can bend the fingers.

I am hoping that the worst of my bad luck is over... bad luck for bad Jen... boo.  I don't like it!

Geez...

I can't believe it's been a couple of months since I have been here.... Hi Jens!! I have been crazy busy in a good way. I started my job hosting mornings at 98.9 Liberty in Richmond, VA... you can listen online at www.989liberty.com -- my husband and I also bought a house and have moved in... Still unpacking.. painting etc. Life is good! BJ is doing well too. We email everyday to check in. I think I am going to get an iPad...and then I can take BJ to my live remotes etc. via Skype... how fun is that? Happy Sunday.. I will try to be better. Jen

I got a job.... wooooo hoooo!

I am so happy to report that I am the new morning show host at 98.9 Liberty in Richmond, VA.... if you're not in Richmond, you can listen online at 989liberty.com! I am really enjoying being back on the air in the morning. Great people too. Radio Go Girl is still a weekly show plus I am doing some marketing work as well. See - it all works out! Wow - did you see the ice on the cars in New York? Crazy! GJ

The weather

We will all bitch and complain when it gets hot this summer - but right now I want to complain about the cold. lol. I had a great weekend with my husband - got to hang out with friends and we are still looking for a house. I am sure it will all come together (as it always does). My mom sent me a hat she made. I love it - they also sent me this really cool book that I would like to recommend. It's called "The Dash"... very inspirational. Have a great day. GJ

Puppies

I love puppies. I am actually house/dog sitting for a girlfriend of mine (she had to leave town because of a family emergency). The puppies are so sweet and totally get along with our little Roodi. It's nice to watch them hang out - sleep and love each other. Beautiful neighborhood too.

Preference?

Regular coffee maker or French press? I am all about the French press. It's cold here in Virginia this morning - my dog doesn't like to go out in the cold (though she has a sweater) - hope you got off to a good start on the first day back to work after the New Year - it's always a hard one. Lots to do today - working on a new show for Radio Go Girl www.radiogogirl.com - check it out!

2011 and we are back!

I can't believe I have not posted anything in forever!! Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great holiday. It went by so fast! Had the chance to spend a lot of time with some friends and family which is always nice. My husband was actually off for 10 days - woo hooo - we had a blast hanging out! What's in store for 2011? I know great things are to come - kicking it off early with a very productive day...... I'll be a better Jen this year and check in more!

well, at least bad Jen is back!  I don't know about you all but I have been busy.

I just got done listening to last weeks episode of RGG and I must say I'm impressed.  I liked listening to Mark Adams talk about Holiday Blues (it was my suggestion).  I have never really been into the holidays and some of his tips were (will be) very helpful... I've already arranged some massages for myself this holiday... I have one scheduled on Christmas Eve and one on New Years Eve.  I was only going to do New Years, but my body is a bit sore (maybe it's from drinking too much on Saturday night ha ha ha - no, just kidding)... but I've decided it's in my best interest to do one Christmas Eve as well... 

My family is not buying gifts this year so that's been a bit strange, but I've gotten a lot of things for myself. 

I am looking forward to making the most out of the holiday.  Here's what I've got scheduled...

BJ and I can't skype today... she is moving! Yay!!! The hubby and I are heading to a fantastic brunch. I can't find Roodi's halloween costume (our little dog) - bummer. Hope you have a good one!

Back in town

I am now a bad Jen. I have not been on here in forever. Bad.... Bad.... Jen.... I went to Atlanta to visit family over the holiday weekend. We had fun. Drank lots of wine and ate lots of food. It was good to see family. Back to the grind now. Working for the future! Jen

Good Jen is out of town this weekend... I bet she's having a good time.

I have been spending some time cleaning up my room this weekend... In case you didn't know yes, I am currently residing with my mother.  We get along really well - I've been looking for a place to live but the space has to be just right.  I need to get everything in order to get ready to move when the time comes...

Tomorrow I have the day off from both my jobs.  I plan on sleeping in until 6:30 or so... if I make it to 7 I'll be lucky...  then I'm going to go workout and then to the studio for the majority of the day...

Maybe someday I'll post photos.

Okay, have to get back to my television show... I'm all about Big Brother!

It's been a long time Jens...

We have both been bad Jens.. life has gotten in the way and we have not been posting...  We are stuck at 127 Jens on the Facebook page and we have lost the jenergy...  maybe we should disband.

Today I felt like staying in bed. It was so nice and comfortable. But- work waits! I had a couple of voice jobs I had to do first thing. So here I am! Looking forward to a lunch appointment I have today! We had an open house (selling our house) yesterday - I kid you not someone actually scraped paint off of one of our window frames... WTF?

Today

Today is a busy day. I am finishing this week's Radio Go Girl! show. Very exciting. I have a house showing (selling the house).... and I am applying for a bunch of jobs. Yay for me. I hope to skype with the other Jen Towner this weekend. We need to catch up. It is so hot here in Virginia - ready for a weather break! I'm with the other Jen... cookies would make life perfect. And some fame would be okay too. lol

The best Mac and Cheese

Okay - went next door for dinner last night. Our nighbors - Wemily (Will and Emily) made the BEST mac and cheese I have ever had. They told us about this months ago and they invited us to taste it. Several different types of cheese... like feta, havarti etc. etc. So creamy and so good. We had a great time and shared a fantastic bottle of Washington State wine. Yay!
